Helping your child thrive in the classroom
School readiness is about more than knowing the alphabet. It includes attention, self-regulation, social skills, fine motor abilities, and the ability to follow multi-step directions. Therapy can address all of these areas.
How do I know if my child is ready for kindergarten?
Kindergarten readiness includes being able to separate from parents, follow 2–3 step directions, hold a pencil, recognize some letters and numbers, and interact with peers. If your child is struggling in any of these areas, therapy or early intervention can help bridge the gap before school starts.
